UFCA Announces 6 Day Tour to Madrid

In October 2014, we will be embarking on an exciting tour to Madrid. This will be our 2nd European visit in 18 Months, having previously visited Barcelona in May 2013. We aim to provide all of our players at UFCA with as many memorable footballing experiences as possible and believe the upcoming visit to Madrid will provide a unique development opportunity.

During our trip to Madrid we will be fortunate enough to have two training sessions with the Real Madrid academy coaches at the outstanding ‘Ciudad Real Madrid’ training facility. This in itself would be worth making the short flight to Spain. However, in addition to this, we will have UFCA private training sessions led by our own coaches at the magnificent ‘Ciudad del Futbol’ centre, located on the outskirts of Madrid. We will also be playing two matches per age group against local Spanish teams, as well as having the option to watch both Atletico and Real Madrid play.

Madrid itself is a beautiful city steeped in culture. This is one of the reasons we opted to tour for 6 days (instead of the 5 days we did in Barcelona), to allow time for everyone to see as much of the city as possible. We are delighted to be able to offer our players the opportunity to have this experience, both in terms of their footballing and personal development.

In preparation for our forthcoming tour, we have recently visited Madrid and the facilities we will be using. Here are a few pictures.

Could you please give me a little more information about this trip?
Flight details?
Brief itinerary?
Age range of children attending?
Accommodation details?
It all sounds great, and more information would be really useful.

My son is currently an U11 and has spent the last 12 months at Finch Farm in Everton’s Development Squad.

Many thanks
